Day 01 : Delhi - Haridwar
Tour participants are requested to report Swaroop Holidays' Tour Manager, at Hazarat Nizamuddin Railway Station bus parking. Meet and assist on arrival at Delhi Airport as well. Later proceed to Haridwar and check into your hotel on arrival. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Haridwar. (L, D)

Day 02 : Haridwar - Rishikesh - Haridwar
After breakfast proceed to Rishikesh to visit Laxman Jhulla and Mandir, Swargashram and Geeta Bhavan. Back to Haridwar. Lunch at Haridwar. Take a holy dip in the sacred Ganges at Hari Ki Pawadi, Ganga Arti. Overnight at hotel in Haridwar. (B, L, D)

Day 03 : Haridwar - Mussorie - Syana Chatti
This morning depart for Syana Chatti. En route stop at Kempty Falls near Mussorie. On arrival at Syana Chatti, check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax and store your energy for the trek to Yamunotri the next day. Overnight at hotel in Syana Chatti. (B, L, D)

Day 04 : Syana Chatti - Yamunotri - Syana Chatti
After breakfast, depart for Hanumanchatti, then 8 kms by local jeeps till Janki Chatti. Here you will begin your trek to Yamunotri (5 kms one way trek). You can hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek. The trek passes through lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti and several species of Himalayan shrubs. Yamunotri is the source of the river Yamuna, the twin sister of Yama, the Lord of Death. Anyone who bathes in her waters is said to be spared a tortuous death. Yamuna is also the daughter of Surya the Sun. After performing pooja, take holy dip in Yamuna river and take the same route back to Syana Chatti. Overnight at Hotel in Syana Chatti. (B, L, D)

Day 05 : Syana Chatti - Uttarkashi
In the morning, drive to reach Uttarkashi. Check into the hotel. Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments, Temples & Ashrams. In the evening, Visit the famous Vishwanath Temple. Overnight at Hotel in Uttarkashi. (B, L, D)

Day 06 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
Early morning drive to Gangotri. Nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri is set at an altitude of 3048 mts. The river Ganges is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Visit the Gangotri Temple. The 18th century's temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite. Late afternoon drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight at Hotel in Uttarkashi. (B, L, D)

Day 07 : Uttarkashi - Rudraprayag
After early breakfast proceed to Rudraprayag en route passing through towns like Tehri, Srinagar. View the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers at Rudraprayag. Overnight at Hotel in Rudraprayag. (B, L, D)

Day 08 : Rudraprayag - Guarikund - Kedarnath
Early morning check out from the hotel and depart for Gaurikund (76 kms) from where, you will start your 14 kms trek to Kedarnath. You can hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek (at own cost). With rare flowers and streams on the Kedarnath route, you are just walking from one picture postcard to another. The path is almost ethereal, and unlike many other so-called holy places, one does feel some ancient divinity residing in this frigid dreamscape. Probably there is a reason why they call it the abode of the gods. On reaching Kedarnath, check into your hotel.
One of the holiest Hindu pilgrim sites dedicated to Lord Shiva, Kedarnath Temple is perched at an altitude of 3,584 meters amidst towering snow-clad Himalayan peaks on the head of river Mandakini. The original temple is said to have been built by the Pandavas to atone for their sins procured during the Kurukshetra war of Mahabharata. The present temple was reconstructed by Adi Sankaracharya in the 8th century. One of the 12 Shiva-Jyotirlingas resides in this temple. Overnight at hotel in Kedarnath. (B, L, D)

DAY 09 : Kedarnath - Gaurikund - Rudraprayag
Today get up before dawn for an audience with Kedarnath Shiva. After visiting the temple return to the hotel for breakfast. Checking out of the hotel, you'll start the return trek of 14 kms from Kedarnath to Gaurikund .On reaching Gaurikund, drive back to Rudraprayag in the vehicles that have been waiting for you. Overnight at the hotel in Rudraprayag. (B,L,D)

DAY 10 : Rudraprayag - Badrinath
This morning, after an early breakfast, drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. After driving through some wonderful ghat road, you will arrive at Badrinath. Check into the hotel. After some rest and refreshments you are all set to visit Badrinath Temple in the evening.
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple of Shri Badrinathji is 15 meters in height, built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire. Legend dates the temple prior to the Vedic age, though the present temple is believed to have been established by Adi Shankaracharya, the 8th century A.D., Hindu reformist. The temple has been renovated several times due to earlier damages by avalanches and looks modern now with a colorful "Singh Dwara" or the main entrance gate. After the visit, return back to the hotel or visit the town and shop around. Overnight at Hotel in Badrinath. (B, L, D)

DAY 11 : Badrinath
This morning, after another visit to the temple, proceed to visit Mana village which is the last village on the Indo-Tibet (China) border. Though a small and segregated village it is popular among tourists because of natural beauty of surroundings and exquisite carpets, blankets, and colorful jerseys knitted by local women. Visit the Veda Vyas Gufa where Veda Vyas supposedly resided and dictated the whole of Mahabharat to Ganesha. Return back to Badrinath. Overnight at Hotel in Badrinath. (B, L, D)

DAY 12 : Badrinath - Auli - Rudraprayag
Leave early morning for Rudraprayag. On the way visit Auli. A compact and naturally landscaped mass of not more than 7 kms in all, Auli nestles high up on the magnificent Himalayan ranges in the Garwal area of Uttarkhand. At a height of 10,000 ft above mean sea level, the destination offers commanding views of the surrounding ranges, which soar to heights of 23,000 ft. Reach Rudraprayag in the evening. Overnight at Hotel Rudraprayag. (B, L, D)

DAY 13 : Rudraprayag - Haridwar
After an early breakfast, proceed to Haridwar. Overnight at Hotel in Haridwar. (B, L, D)

DAY 14 : Haridwar - Delhi (H Nizamuddin-take a train to Mumbai)
This morning, after a holy dip in the Ganges, proceed to Delhi. On arrival transfer to Airport/Railway Station. (B, L)
